Introduction

This was the main target of my long-weekend trip with Adi Goila through Central Europe, being a dream and a personal ambition to see Prague and the Czech Republic. On our way to the czech capital and back, we got to cross through Brno, second largest city in the country. We spent three days in Prague, strolling the city by day and the night clubs after sunset. It was everything I ever expected and more.

Prague25-27 July 2003

Capital of the Czech Replubic, and also of the former Czechoslovakia, Prague (Praha) is of an inimaginable splendor. While looking for accomodation the morning we arrived, we got to walk all over downtown, from the Railway Station to Mala Strana, over the Charles Bridge and also drive around the outskirts of the core. We even got to ride the subway for awhile, in the end checking in at a 3-star hotel downtown, "City Centre".

We have passed by every major landmark of the city, videotaping almost every step we took. At night, we enjoyed the famous life style of the bohemian city, club hopping till late in the morning.

On top of all the excitement, we got to celebrate Mick Jagger's 60th b-day party, joining the crowds waiting outside the club in Vaclavske Square.

Brno ~ transit25, 27 July 2003

Second largest city of the Czech Replubic, Brno stands at the crossroads towards Eastern Europe coming from the capital, which is why we got to transit it twice in a weekend.
